Seven unroofed, one partially roofed, thirty-five roofed buildings, some enclosures and some field walls are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973).

A walkover survey was conducted by Wordsworth Archaeological Services in 1996 for a proposed Woodland Grant Scheme application.
Site No: 36
Site name: Glenuig
Description: Adjacent to the burn that descends eastwards from Monadh Gleann Uige and just N of stone dyke 9 are the remains of four structures. The house sites are obscured by heavy bracken growth. These were all shown as unroofed in 1873.
36/1 Poorly defined drystone structure 9m by 5m aligned N/S, probably a former dwelling house
36/2 Oval structure 4m by 3m
36/3 Round ended drystone structure 6m by 4m
36/4 This is a possible structure 10m by 5m showing as a slight hollow under the bracken and is aligned NE/SW. It may have extended or there may have been another building 10m long to the NE of this.
Recommendation: These buildings are too badly preserved and obscured to be suitable for public display. This area should be left open and periodically weeded. A selective muir burn may make these sites easier to identify. <1>
