Full Description

A township comprising three unroofed, eight roofed buildings, an enclosure and fragments of a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1875-7, sheet cxlvii). Eight unroofed, one partially roofed, two roofed buildings and some field walls are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973).

This township was photographed by S Salem during a casual site visit. A well and a corn drying kiln were located, along with several ruined buildings and several extant funtioning holiday homes. <1>
