NC91NE 46 972 193.

Centred at NC 972 193, on exposed moorland, is a settlement of four stone-walled hut-circles (A-D) within an associated field system. The huts are reduced and obscured by peat and heather. 'A' and 'B' are of similar build, each 5.0m diameter within walls spread to 1.5m broad. The entrances are in the SE arc; that to hut'A'has its east side prolonged outwards for 1.0m. Hut 'C' is 11.0m in diameter within a wall spread to 3.0m wide and 0.6m high. The entrance of simple form is in the SE quarter. 'D', levelled into the foot of a short slope, is 5.0m diameter within a wall, 1.2m estimated width in the south half, but elsewhere reduced to a back-scarp. An entrance is in the east arc.
The field system, two hectares in extent, comprises a moderate density of stone clearance heaps and some lynchets, but no measurable cultivation plots are descernible.
