Full Description
NC95SW 13 9007 5410.
At NC 9007 5410 and NC 9012 5409 are 2 hut circles (A and B respectively).
'A', set back into a slight rise, measures approximately 10.5m N-S by 8m E-W internally; the entrance is no longer discernible. The north half of the hut is heavily peat covered and little is visible of the wall; the south half is much depleted but several inner and outer facing stones in situ give a wall width of 2.1m. 'B', set in against the foot of a slope, measures about 11m in diameter overall; the entrance is no longer visible. The hut wall is barely discernible in the south quarter, and elsewhere only evident in intermittent outer facing stone in situ.
Some 9m east of hut A, a setting of contiguous boulder slabs extending down the slope may be an associated wall.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (J M) 5 November 1980.
