Full Description

NC25SW 18 201 542.

NC 201 543. A hut, 6ft by 5ft, with walls 3ft high. There are six boulder cairns grouped nearby and 100ft E a dyke about 2ft high of large stones and slabs runs between the shore and the crags. Two hundred feet W up to 20ft of walling up to 4ft high and 5ft thick at the base, forms a crescent with an opening in the middle. Turf walling across wide gaps and stone walling between crags enclose the area.

NC 201 542. Croft abandoned 18th/19th century; remains include building footing, 9m by 4m, and remnants of a head dyke or bank. Heaps of cleared stone indicate worked ground. The building footing has been modified to form a lambing pen.
