Full Description
NC75SW 66 7291 5451.
There is a heather-covered burnt mound at NC 7291 5451, some 20.0m from another example beside same burn (See NC75SW 23), and on edge of a small field system associated with a hut circle (See NC75SW 24). The mound is horse-shoe-shaped with open side facing the burn to the east, and measures 11m N-S by 7m E-W; there are twin summits N & S of central depression, 0.6m high. The content of the mound is not visible.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (N K B) 30 January 1979.
