Full Description

NC75NW 43 7206 5770.

At NC 7206 5770, situated on the edge of a level terrace, is a roughly circular cairn about 15.0m in overall diameter and 1.5m in height. It is partly heather-covered with the centre being of bare stones. A large irregular slab, 1.5m by 0.6m by 0.2m, lying 1.5m south of the centre and protruding from the cairn at an angle of about 20 degrees N, has possibly formed part of a cist. No other structural details were seen; the centre of the cairn appears relatively undisturbed.
Surveyed at 1:10000.
Visited by OS (J B) 21 July 1977.

From aerial photographic evidence this feature would appear to have been completely ploughed away by 1999-2001.
