Full Description
NC82SW 6 844 203.
At NC 844203, on a natural shelf in a south-facing slope, is a settlement of three stone-walled huts (A-C) within a minor field system. Huts 'A' and 'B' are similar 9.0 m and 8.5 m in diameter respectively within heather and peat-obscured walls, 0.5 m maximum height, and
spread to 2.0 m broad. Their entrances are in the south arc. 'C' is larger and better preserved; it measures 11.0 m in diameter within a wall, 0.8 m high, spread to 2.5 m broad, but widening to 3.5 m at the entrance in the SSE arc.
Associated cultivation is limited to sporadic clearance heaps, some 20.0 m to 30.0 m apart in the vicinity of huts 'B' and 'C'. No plots are discernible.
