('A' NC 87463240) ('B' NC 87453229) Enclosures (NR)
OS 6"map, (1964)

There are two hut-circles (A and B), in open moorland with a north-westerly aspect, recognised during field investigation (Information from OS (E G C) 22 May 1961). There are no decisive signs of associated cultivation. Both huts are reduced and heather covered. 'A', standing to 0.4m high and the better preserved, is 12 by 10m inside a wall of main spread 2.5m broad expanding to 4m in the N side of an entrance from the SSW on the line of the longer axis.
'B' is about 16m diameter over a wall of obscure proportions. A depression in the SW quarter probably indicates an entrance.
The latter hut was incorrectly positioned and was annotated "sheepfold" on a previous publication (OS 6"map, Sutherlandshire, 1st ed., (1878)). Visited by OS (J M) 20 January 1977.
