A possible farmstead comprising what may be a long building and a smaller building noted by Mercer, are depicted as unroofed on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet xxviii). They are not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1962).
Information from RCAHMS (AKK) 22 August 1995.
The smaller building as recorded by Mercer may just be visible on vertical aerial photographs. The southern, longer building not seen by Mercer may have largely been swept away as the river has changed course from since it was first shown on the OS 1st Edition map. <2>
