1st ed OS shows single small building on E side of burn. This is the southern of 2 mills see NC00NW0024 - HAW 11/2002

'The remains of small, rectangular building, evidently those of a horizontal mill, lie cut into steep left bank of Allt Ach' a Bhraighe at Acheninver. Structures on the upstream side suggest a raised wooden water flume from a nearby waterfall. One of the millstones, partly cleared of vegetation by Mr Miller, Acheninver, lies within structure. Nothing, however, can be seen of the outflow into stream.

The partially excavated remains of a small over-shot mill are visible on E bank of the Allt Ach a' Bhraighe. Mill comprises a rectangular building, measuring 5.2m from ESE to WNW by 3.4m transversely within faced-rubble walls 0.65m thick, standing 1.5m high. A 1m wide wheel-pit occupies WNW side of building with a partly collapsed aperture, 0.5m across, in the wall on this side for the axle of the wheel, which is matched on opposite side of the wheel-pit by a groove in bedrock for end of the axle. An undressed millstone, 1.35m in diameter, with a hole in middle, lies within mill. An embanked lade runs up to the edge of the wheel-pit from the NNE.The mill is depicted as roofed on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Cromartyshire 1881, sheet vii).
