OS 6"map, (1967)

Two bracken-obscured circular enclosures. Each consists of a turf-covered bank of gravel and small stones spread to 3m, 'A' measuring 14m in diameter between bank centres and 'B' c. 12.5m. Neither exhibits an entrance. NE arc of 'B' has been recently truncated by excavations for a fish hatchery.
The circles occur within an area of depopulation and cultivation. Although previously thought to be "large" hut circles their situation on a low flood plain and within a depopulated settlement, indicates that they may not be prehistoric.
Visited by OS (F R H) 24 June 1962 and (A A) 7 August 1974.
