Full Description

Cist, Windhill: According to local information, a cist was found in 1934 during sand-digging 200 m NW of Tomich House. It apparently contained an unaccompained inhumation; the cist was left in situ.
RCAHMS 1979, visited 1979.

NGR amended according to location of sand pit as shown on 1946 RAF AP and OS 1:2500 5th Edition map.
