Full Description

NH98NW 9 9443 8662.

(NH 944 866) Fort - A ditch, 3' - 4' deep with inner rubble wall and access ramp is visible in cliff edge. The area enclosed is D-shaped, but owing to erosion, original dimensions are unknown.
T C Welsh 1968.

This alleged fort at NH 9443 8662 is not an antiquity. Welsh has mis-interpreted a plough line, modern field clearance, and a small natural gully.
