Full Description
NH68NE 40 6925 8752.
adjacent to marshy ground, is a low, turf-covered burnt mound composed of earth, sand and burnt stones. It is roughly 'U'-shaped with the indentation facing the marsh, and measures 0.5m high and 9.5m from NW to SE (an indefinite NE side renders a transverse measurement impossible). A hut circle (NH68NE 21) lies 120m to the N.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (N K B) 9 June 1981.
