Full Description
NH68NE 41 6975 8777.
beside marshy ground, is an oval, turf- covered burnt mound, measuring 6.0m N-S by 4.5m and 0.8m high. It is composed of 'pot-boilers', blackened earth and fragments of charcoal. A small, low mound 8.0m to the SW has indications that it too is composed of 'potboilers'. A hut circle (NH68NE 42) lies 45m to SW.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (J B) 5 March 1981.
