'Achadh Mor Nan Sian Gailbheach' is name applied to '...a number of ruins situate on the west bank of Abhuinn Braigh nan Sian Gailbheach and about half a mile south of Fainmore...'

This depopulated settlement comprises remains of 4 rectangular dry-stone buildings, max. height of 0.6m, and the grass covered footings of a further 6 small rectangular buildings which apparently pre-date the others.

Six unroofed buildings are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire and Cromartyshire 1881, sheet xlviii). Ten unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1967).
