Full Description
NH18NE 10 174 882.
In area centred at NH 174882 there are remains of an unnamed depopulated settlement consisting of eight buildings, a small enclosure and a possible corn-drying kiln. The dry stone walls of buildings vary in height from 0.3m. to 0.8m.
Surveyed at 1/2500. Visited by OS (R D) 16 October 1964
1743 8767: (previously NH18NE 13): Stone footings of a building 19m by 4.5m by 0.8m high.

1753 8743: (previously NH18NE 14): Stone footings of 2 buildings, the larger 18m by 5m by 0.6m with two internal divisions. The smaller building to S measures 7m by 5m by 0.5 m high. Both buildings are connected a by wall 0.4m high.

A township comprising one roofed and ten unroofed buildings, an enclosure, some field walls and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire and Cromartyshire 1881, sheet xxii). One roofed and nine unroofed buildings, two enclosures, some field walls and a short length of head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1969).
