Full Description
On W side of Loch Broom in area between NH 169 860 and NH 174 852 (see NH18NE 8), (Visible on APs RAF CPE/Scot/321:3299-3300) there is a depopulated settlement, name unknown, comprising the remains of 6 dry-stone buildings, max ht. 1m, and several field banks and enclosures, max ht. 1.3m. The settlement lies on a very steep slope, impossible to cultivate, and it is probable that they derived their living from fishing (See NH18NE 2).

What may be a township, comprising three unroofed buildings and two enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire & Cromartyshire 1881, sheet xxxv). Five unroofed buildings, field walls and a head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1969).
