Centred on 892 793
In the area around Kernsary and Innisabhaird, centred NG 892 793, are the footings or remains of at least eleven buildings with numerous associated enclosures. The buildings, all of dry-stone construction, range from 20m x 4m to 5m x 3m and stand to a maximum height of 1.3m. In south end of the building at NG 8951 7943 is a corn drying kiln of the usual type.

A township comprising 9 roofed buildings, 14 unroofed buildings and a field-system is depicted on 1st edition OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire 1881, sheet xlv). 3 roofed buildings and 18 unroofed buildings shown on current edition OS 1:10560 map (1969).
