NG83NW 2 centred on 821 379
The considerable remains of crofting township of Camasdoun lie within mature forest. Traces of ancillary buildings, field walls and rig and furrow are visible. The township area is bisected by a forest road.

A township comprising two roofed buildings, three unroofed buildings one of which is a two compartment long building, two enclosures and a head-dyke is depicted on the first edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire 1880, sheet cx). Three unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971).
