NG84NW 2 832 492.

At NG 832 492, on the NW bank of Allt a'Mhill Bhrie, in a sheltered grass and heather-covered valley, between 400 and 700 ft OD., there are the remains of 7 oval and 5 circular shielings, varying in height from grass-covered footings to 1.0m. The walls, roughly built of fairly large unhewn stones, are approximately 0.7m. thick, and frequently incorporate large natural boulders. No name is known locally. Visited by OS (N K B) 13 April 1965.

Situated to the W of the Allt a' Mhuill Bric and bounded by a ditch, there are four shieling-huts, a circular structure and a small drystone store, which were recorded during the course of a pre-afforestation survey by J Wordsworth (NMRS MS961/4, no.2).
