Barrow, as described by OS (EGC).Visited by OS (AA) 3 10 1973
This low turf-covered mound enclosed within a ditch and outer bank is as described by previous authorities. Its regularity of form would strongly suggest a funerary monument, ie a saucer barrow, but details are obscured by the peat blanket. It is in a remote situation and there are no other known prehistoric monuments in the area.
See plan and section. Visited by OS (N K B) 21 December 1976
