This mound has been ploughed through prior to afforestation. There is no evidence in the plough furrows to suggest that it is man-made. It is more likely that it is a moraine.
Visited by OS (N K B) 18 June 1980.
The four mounds have been mutilated by deep ploughing; only a scatter of lose stone remains.
