Full Description

At NC 9902 6404, NC 9904 6405 and NC 9905 6403 there are three hut circles measuring respectively 12m, 9m and 7m in diameter. The largest is visible as a grass-covered earth and stone bank 1.2m high and has an entrance in NE. The second is a 0.4m high earth and stone bank with an entrance in E, while the smallest is only visible as a grass-covered bank 0.3m high with an entrance in the NE. Old fields and clearance heaps lie to the SW.
Surveyed at 1:2500. Visited by OS (R D) 27 November 1964.

Three hut circles (A-C). The huts are turf-covered, and have entrances in the NE, the line of the main axis where applicable.
'A' measures 11m in diameter within a wall spread from 2.5-3.5m up to 0.7m high.
'B' measures 11 by 10m overall. The wall in SW half is obscure; elsewhere it is mainly distinguished in individual large blocks.
'C' measures approximately 6m in diameter within a wall spread from 1.5 to 2m and, at most, 0.2m high.
The huts are in an area of pasture. There are no signs of associated land-use.
