Full Description
At NJ 0619 3310 is a near square stone-walled burial ground measuring internally about 23.0m.
Within the W half are the turf-covered footings of a chapel, measuring about 9.5m ENE-WSW by about 6.0m transversely (Information from G A Dixon, 13 Thirlstane Rd., Edinburgh), obscured by modern field clearance. No grave stones are evident.
The site is very similar to the chapel and burial ground at Dunearn (NH94SW 18) Significant place name 'Auchnahannet' at NJ 059 334.
Surveyed at 1/2500.
