Full Description

Situated on the southern flank of the glen of the Allt nan Leac there is an area of improved pasture which measures about 150m from E-W by 100m from N-S. The pasture is enclosed by an earth dyke 1m high on the E and S sides, and by steeply-sloping gound on the N and W. Visited by J S Wood, 1 April 1990. <1>
As described and illustrated, this feature cannot be found on vertical aerial photographs. However, what can be seen at this location is a complex series of dykes and enclosures, possibly of several phases. <2> <3>
