Full Description
An archaeological assessment of the proposed route of the pipelines between Letterfearn and Ratagan, Ratagan and Ault a' Chruinn, and Ardelve and Sallachy was undertaken by C Dagg in 2000.
Water management feature. The Alit an Ard Achaidh, flowing naturally southwards, has been channelled to flow down the field boundary , then eastward above the road. The channel as it flows along the roadside is of neat drystone construction, now moss-covered. This probably dates to the land reorganisation of the early 19th century. <1>
