Full Description
A walkover survey and desk-based assessment for the National Trust estate at Torridon was carried out by J Wordsworth and J Harden between 1996 and 2002.
The site of the old foot bridge is at NG84195739. Centred on a large rock on the west bank of the Abhainn Alligin are the remains of a causeway c2m wide by c1 .5m. Nothing similar is visible on the opposite bank but this is interpreted as a former bridge site across the Alligin. <1>
