Full Description
A walkover survey and desk-based assessment for the National Trust estate at Torridon was carried out by J Wordsworth and J Harden.
This area is defined by two old dykes spread to at least lm and c0.7m high - one running from A' Chailleach northeastwards, the other branching NW from it at about NG839573. The ground appears particularly poor - perhaps the turf has been stripped from this area, as it appears to have been from above the main road N of the Alligin gorge - although there is a good peat source about TOR199b.
A wee structure is sited down near the cliff at about NG839572, measuring c1.5m in diameter <1>
