Full Description

A walkover survey and desk-based assessment for the National Trust estate at Torridon was carried out by J Wordsworth and J Harden.

Immediately east of the burn is an unroofed structure, aligned N-S with its entrance in the SE corner of the south wall, measuring c5.5m by c3m over walls c0.5m thick and standing to the wallheads. There roof had a single pitch - the east wall being higher than the west wall. The interior of the structure is cobbled and paved. To the east are three boat noosts just above high water mark, still in use. The cobbles have been cleared from the foreshore in front of them and they measure c5m long and c2m wide.<1>
