Full Description
A walkover survey and desk-based assessment for the National Trust estate at Torridon was carried out by J Wordsworth and J Harden.
At Slugach above Doire na Fuaran are a series of irregular drystone enclosures. The area is covered with scree and long heather making visibility difficult. In their present form none of the walls are stock proof. They are similar to the enclosures observed above Blairbeg at TOR106. They are interpreted as stock enclosures constructed before sheep were introduced in the 1840s. <1>
