Full Description

A walkover survey and desk-based assessment for the National Trust estate at Torridon was carried out by J Wordsworth and J Harden.

Near a small quarry scoop by the road are two slight features - one is a subcircular feature c5.5m by c4m and the other a subsquare structure/enclosure c8m by c5m over slight walls spread to c1m.
Some 50m to the E is an enclosure marked on the OS 1:10,000 map. It is c24m N-S by c12.5m W-E over walls c0.7m thick and standing up to c0.8m high. The enclosure has an entrance towards the NE corner of the E wall and a small structure within its SW corner measuring c6m by c3m over walls c0.6m thick and up to lm high. <1>
