Full Description
A walkover survey and desk-based assessment for the National Trust estate at Torridon was carried out by J Wordsworth and J Harden between 1996 and 2002.
This 300m-long area is enclosed by a wiggly dyke shown in 1875 forming the head dyke from the W burn called Na h-Alltan an Donna and running E to the Allt Druim na h-Uamhaidh. It includes crofthouses (15) & (13) and a new house site E of crofthouse (13). The cultivation & clearance heaps at the west end of the enclosed and sub-divided area is clearly visible. <1>
