Full Description
A walkover survey and desk-based assessment for the National Trust estate at Torridon was carried out by J Wordsworth and J Harden between 1996 and 2002.
By following the north burn that crosses the township area of Lagaidh Dubh north eastwards, one reaches an area of bracken and rough grasses c100-c150m above the township area. A stone and turf dyke has been built towards its SW 'boundary' across the defile, the dyke being c 0.5m high and spread to clm. There are three potential shieling mounds from SW to NE across the area, measuring between c6m by cam and c3.5m by c2.5m. <1>
