Full Description
A walkover survey and desk-based assessment for the National Trust estate at Torridon was carried out by J Wordsworth and J Harden between 1996 and 2002.
Just beside the burn outflow from Loch na Beiste is a drystone subrectangular structure. Aligned NE-SW, measuring c6m by c3.5m over walls c0.6m wide and up to cim high, its SE side is formed by an outcrop of rock. If heather-roofed, one could imagine that this would be very difficult to see. Its distant location and proximity to flowing water suggest that it could have been a still. <1>
