Full Description
A walkover survey and desk-based assessment for the National Trust estate at Torridon was carried out by J Wordsworth and J Harden between 1996 and 2002.
A predominantly stone dyke runs NE from the Alligin Gorge. Parts of this dyke are shown on the current OS map and it was shown in 1875 extending to a line of rocks which link with dyke TOR171. The wall continues further NE to a substantial rock face at NG 83805813 before continuing to a point at NG 83955816. Though surviving to a maximum height of c1m and c1m wide this is a substantial land division and presumably separated the land of Braebeg from Inveralligin. <1>
