Full Description

A walkover survey and desk-based assessment for the National Trust estate at Torridon was carried out by J Wordsworth and J Harden between 1996 and 2002.

At NG83205865 running SW from a distinct cliff are the remains of a dyke c0.5m high spread to cl m wide and c60m long. It links with a similar wall extending from the NW corner of the well-preserved enclosure (T0R106) to form a substantial enclosure 200m by c170m. The area SE of this is a compex area of flood debris, possible clearance cairns and the remains of short lengths of drystone dykes. <1>
