Full Description

A walkover survey and desk-based assessment for the National Trust estate at Torridon was carried out by J Wordsworth and J Harden between 1996 and 2002.

A natural cleft in the rocks has been used to form an enclosure c22m by c1-4m wide and up to c3m deep. At the entrance at the NW is a possible structure c2m by c3m though this may be collapse from a blocking wall. At the other end of the cleft is another possible structure or a smaller enclosure c1.5m by c4m. Possible blocking stones at the S end may only be collapsed stones from the rock face. <1>
