Full Description

A walkover survey and desk-based assessment for the National Trust estate at Torridon was carried out by J Wordsworth and J Harden between 1996 and 2002.

A stone dyke crosses the inner part of the north bay at Fasag. It is visible at low tide and is the remains of a fish trap (caraidh), trapping salmon, trout and other fish as the sea tide ebbed, enabling folk to gather the fish.<1>
