Full Description
A walkover survey and desk-based assessment for the National Trust estate at Torridon was carried out by J Wordsworth and J Harden between 1996 and 2002.
A heather clad oval structure, aligned NE/SW on the NW side of the east of the burns named Na h-Alltan an Donna, measures c3m by c4m over walls c0.4m thick and c0.5m high. To the SE, across the burn, is an area of peat cuttings with a green mossy patch with stones around it. The patch measures c4m maximum dimension, and is presumed to be a peat stack base. <1>
