Full Description
A walkover survey and desk-based assessment for the National Trust estate at Torridon was carried out by J Wordsworth and J Harden between 1996 and 2002.
A rectangular drystone structure c4m by c2m internally and aligned NW/SE, sits on a secluded ledge overlooking the river. The walls are single stone thickness up to c0.7m high and c0.5m wide built against the rock face on one side and against a large boulder on the opposing side. It has an entrance facing NE. There are no internal walls. The structure lies in a damp hollow and is either a dairy store or a still site. <1>
