NG 812 572 (centred on) An area with broad cultivation terraces and clearance heaps. Four small bothy-like features are in the vicinity. One at NG 812 571 may be the remains of a kiln. Under a large rock at NG c.814 572 is a collection of shells, various edible species.
M Macdonald 1995

A walkover survey and desk-based assessment for the National Trust estate at Torridon was carried out by J Wordsworth and J Harden between 1996 and 2002.

This complexity of cultivation is defined on its NW side by a stone dyke, its north and NE side by an outcrop of rock and the remainder appears to be undefined and peters out at towards the path. A kiln is sited near the dyke, about midway across the cultivated area. There are two drystone structures close to the outcrop, but neither appear substantial enough to be the dwelling associated with the rigs. The area also has a number of clearance cairns across it. <1>
