Information from RCAHMS (SAH) 24 April 1996

A walkover survey and desk-based assessment for the National Trust estate at Torridon was carried out by J Wordsworth and J Harden between 1996 and 2002.

Two buildings are marked on the OS map to the east of the footpath to Aird Glas. Walking from the high ground down towards the point, one crosses an irregular turf and stone dyke that winds its way down to the north structure (116b). The dyke continues downhill from the SW end of the north structure, down to the second structure (116a) which is sited east of the footpath. The ground to the east of this dyke has been cultivated in the past and rigs are visible in places. <1>
