The probable township of Dalamein. <1>

A walkover survey and desk-based assessment was undertaken by A Coombs at Dalnamein for the Sutherland Longhouse Project, a community engagement project hosted by Historylinks Museum, Dornoch in 2019-20.

Site 61: A well-preserved corn kiln bowl. The kiln barn is more ruined but the walls survive to c. 0.6m in places. Part of the structure is built on the exposed bedrock. The corn kiln is c. 2m to the east of the large enclosure dyke. <2>
