The probable township of Dalamein. <1>
A walkover survey and desk-based assessment was undertaken by A Coombs at Dalnamein for the Sutherland Longhouse Project, a community engagement project hosted by Historylinks Museum, Dornoch in 2019-20.
Site 42: The turf-covered footings of a wall lie roughly N-S, parallel to the footpath (25) marked on the 1st Ed OS map once it turns north beside the byre and enclosure. The path and wall continue north to the top of the Innis Aonar enclosure marked on the 1st Ed OS map.
