The probable township of Dalamein. <1>
A walkover survey and desk-based assessment was undertaken by A Coombs at Dalnamein for the Sutherland Longhouse Project, a community engagement project hosted by Historylinks Museum, Dornoch in 2000.
Site 17: The circular structure has an upstanding outer edge with a central hollow and E-facing entrance. It does not appear to be a clearance cairn or tattie pit but its use is unclear. It is outwith the head dyke. <2>
