Full Description
A former lodge for Dochfour House, now known as 'Weir Cottage'. It is shown on the OS 1st Edition map as a small inverted 'T'-shaped building and does not appear to have been a major way onto the estate, as only a relatively minor track is shown immediately to its north. The track was later moved further away from the lodge and its set-back opening onto the A82 road is flanked by two low capped pillars which may be later in date. <1>
The lodge exterior was photographed during the national Category C Listing survey in 1975 (see linked Trove record), but it does not appear to have been listed.
