Full Description
The pre-crofting township of Skulamus, Skye. The full boundary is shown on Matthew Stobie's 1766 map and dykes can be traced intermittently on vertical aerial photography. Stobie shows several areas of cultivation with what appear to be buildings and these largely correspond with where settlement can be seen on aerial photographs (see MHG5301 and MHG18235). <1> <2> <3>
