Full Description
Two buildings, two dykes and a small patch of rig, at the south tip of the island, were recorded during a pre-afforestation survey of Eilean Fladday. The small, stone buildings are built against low, east-facing crags. They stand up to 1m in height. The dykes enclose an area measuring approximately 70m by 120m, again making use of the crags. A small area of well-preserved rig is situated at the SW corner of this enclosure. Condition: The buildings stand to a height of over 1 m. The dykes are fragmentary but clearly visible. The rigs are covered in bracken but are otherwise apparently stable. <1>
